The Plouf Festival is a three-day, free outdoor event set in the mountain village of Vercorin (Valais, Switzerland). It’s organized by free-flight enthusiasts and brings together paragliding, mountain biking, and outdoor adventures in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere. Beyond sports, Plouf offers live music (eight free concert evenings), children’s activities (kits, water rockets, kite-making), and aerial shows including base jumping, acrobatic paragliding, and sunrise paragliding launches from Crêt du Midi.
The festival takes place in a central “village” area called Plouf Village, with food trucks, bars, a giant tent, and a cinema screen for daytime outdoor screenings. There’s also a “Plouf Éléments” relay that mixes paragliding, biking, and trail running into a collective, playful race. Camping and van‑life spots are available, and local lodging options too.
Participants can access to-site transportation via the Chalais–Vercorin cable car / gondola — there are special multi-day passes for festival-goers. The mood is relaxed, inclusive, and built around nature, sport, and shared experience.
