Ferrata Pamír

Ferrata Pamír is a compact but exhilarating via ferrata route set on Driekyňská Skala near Slovenská Ľupča. With about 35 meters of vertical climbing (difficulty C) and an easy 7-metre descent route, it’s perfect for climbers who want challenge without a full-day commitment. The route is steep and technical in sections — expect steel cables and grippy holds, especially in the lower two thirds, with a more natural, rock-feature finish towards the top. Oriented to the south, the route gets plenty of sunshine, making it especially inviting in clear weather. Because of its altitude and short approach, it’s ideal as a beginner-to-intermediate ferrata experience, paired with nearby trails or sightseeing around Slovenská Ľupča.
