A breathtaking alpine valley carved by ice — home to turquoise lakes, towering glaciers, and wild mountain routes.

Moiry lies above Grimentz in the Val d’Anniviers (Valais) and is famous for its stunning glacier, dam lake, and rugged alpine terrain. The Glacier de Moiry cascades dramatically down between jagged peaks, offering a spectacular backdrop for hiking, climbing, and mountaineering. Trails lead to the Cabane de Moiry (2,825 m), one of Switzerland’s most scenic mountain huts, perched directly above the glacier with views over crevasses and icefalls. The area also features granite climbing sectors, alpine ridges, and glacier routes toward Pigne de la Lé, Pointes de Mourti, and Dent Blanche. With its turquoise Lac de Moiry and high-mountain serenity, Moiry captures the essence of the untamed Valais Alps — wild, vast, and unforgettable.
