Rawyl is a world-class limestone climbing area located above Lac de Tseuzier, combining dramatic alpine scenery with some of the best sport climbing in Switzerland. The cliffs rise directly above the lake, offering routes from beginner-friendly slabs to steep overhangs that challenge even experienced climbers. Known for its excellent rock quality and well-bolted lines, Rawyl attracts both local and international climbers during the warmer months. The area offers a wide range of grades, from F5 to F8c, and features classic endurance routes as well as technical vertical climbs. Between climbs, you can cool off in the lake, enjoy the forest shade, or camp nearby — making Rawyl a perfect spot for a multi-day climbing escape surrounded by nature.
