Sanetsch Pass: Scenic and hidden mountain pass

Sanetsch Pass (2,252 m) is one of Switzerland’s most scenic and lesser-travelled mountain passes, connecting Savièse in Valais with Gsteig in the Bernese Oberland. The route winds through a landscape of towering limestone cliffs, alpine meadows, and the striking Lac de Sanetsch, offering a perfect escape for hikers, cyclists, and climbers. The area features several sport and multi-pitch climbing sectors, trails leading toward Glacier de Tsanfleuron, and quiet spots ideal for wild camping or photography.
